How to Round Product Prices Automatically During Import

The ROUND function allows you to automatically round product prices to a specified precision or pattern during import in Products Sync Master.

This function helps simplify price formatting by removing insignificant digits while keeping the value close to the original. It can round prices up or down depending on your settings.

Available ROUND Options

1. ROUND TO X.99 – rounds all prices to the nearest .99.
   Example: 12.35 → 12.99
2. ROUND TO X.00 – rounds all prices to the nearest whole number.
   Example: 12.40 → 12.00, 12.50 → 13.00, 12.68 → 13.00
3. ROUND TO COINS – rounds all prices to a specified coin ending.
   Example: ROUNDING_TO_COINS_55 → 12.55
4. ROUND TO WHOLE – rounds all prices to the specified last digit.
   Example: ROUNDING_TO_WHOLE_9 → 100 → 109

Example: Apply Rounding to Product Prices

Imagine your import file includes product prices like this:

To round them automatically, go to the Custom Fields tab and create a new field “Round Price.” Then, choose one of the rounding types as shown below.

1. Round Prices to .99

Example result: 150.94 → 150.99

2. Round Prices to .00

Example result: 150.94 → 151.00

3. Round Prices to Specific Coins

Example result: 150.94 → 151.15

4. Round Prices to the Nearest Whole Pattern

Example result: 150.94 → 207.00

Step 5: Assign the Custom Field for Price Import

Finally, in the Pricing tab, select your new “Round Price” field for the price option:

That’s it! The app will automatically round product prices during import according to your selected rule.
