How to Migrate Your Store from PrestaShop to Shopify Using the Sync Master App
This guide explains how to migrate your PrestaShop store to Shopify step by step. It’s designed as both a quick start reference and a checklist to make sure you don’t miss any critical setup tasks during migration.
Step 1: Export Your Product Catalog from PrestaShop
To export all your products, use the Product Catalog (CSV, Excel, XML) Export PRO module.
Log in to your PrestaShop admin panel and open the module. On the start page, click New Export:

- General
- Products Filter
- Fields Filter
1. General Settings
In the first step, complete the general settings:
- Enter a name for the export preset (useful for future exports).
- Select the file format:
.XLSXor.CSV. - Choose the language.
- Enable “Each combination in a separate row”.
Then click Next.
2. Filter Products
This step can remain unchanged. Simply click Next to proceed.
3. Fields Filter
To export all product information (names, combinations, images, associations, etc.), open each tab on the left and click Add All Fields.
When ready, click Export and download the generated file:
Step 2: Import Your Data into Shopify Using Sync Master
Log in to your Shopify store and install the Products Sync Master app.
Open the app and configure the basic options on the General Settings tab. Then upload the file you exported from PrestaShop and click Next Step:
Set Field Associations
In the next step, map (associate) the fields from your file to the correct Shopify product fields. You can also create custom formulas or apply import rules using the app’s advanced field editor.
Carefully review all mappings — the import results depend on this step. Click Import Now to start importing:

During import, you can view detailed progress and log information:

Once the process is complete, check your Shopify Products section — your items will now appear successfully imported:
